The theme of the conference is "Building an Industrial Interconnected Ecosystem and Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry". Conference consists of a themed forum, a forum on the international industrial internet, a launch ceremony for the “Belt and Road” Communication Industry Alliance and a raft of sub-forums.
In the exhibition part, 5,000 square meters area was arranged to showcase the innovative technologies and applications. At that time, the conference will invite Chinese government leaders, industry experts and scholars from countries along the “Belt and Road”, leaders of Chinese and foreign companies, and well-known investors to gather together.
The 2019 China International Industrial Internet Innovation and Development Conference was held concurrently with the 2019 Xiamen International Investment and Trade Fair and Silk Road Investment Conference from Sept. 7 to Sept.11. It was themed to "Build an Industrial Interconnected Ecosystem and Promote the High-Quality Development of the Manufacturing Industry".
CIID is a big Industrial Internet event combining exhibitions, forums, seminars and matchmaking. Meanwhile, it has established the exchange and promotion platform for industrial internet companies and the “Belt and Road” countries. Furthermore, it has promoted new national and international cooperation projects in Fujian, helping Xiamen foster a competitive edge in Industrial Internet.
In the exhibition part, 5,000 square meters area was arranged to showcase the innovative technologies and applications to the Industrial Internet. The top three mobile telecom operators in China China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile – attended this show. In addition, the leader of the national Industrial Internet industry CASICloud, 5G technology giants such as China Information Communication Technologies Group Corporation, Yamaha Motor Solutions, Yonyou, Intretech, Xindeco IOT and other main companies were present.
The forums focus on hotspots and produce authoritative viewpoints. The theme forum—— "The Belt and Road" International Industrial Internet Industry Forum has attracted 1,000 audience, and invited Zhang Feng, the chief engineer (deputy ministerial level) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Peter Sachsenmeier, the professor at Oxford University and academician of the German Academy of Science and Engineering; Zhang Qiliang, the founder and CEO of XCMG; Zhu Shouyu, deputy general manager of CASICloud; and Wang Jing, the chairman of Newland Group, along with other important guests to attended.
Several seminars were also held during the conference, including digital transformation which empowered SME, smart energy technology leading green development, 5G+ Industrial Internet empowering construction industry, Industrial Internet integrating with substantial economy, as well as the cutting-edge technology in the industry.
Government officials, industry experts and scholars, leaders of Chinese and foreign companies, and well-known investors along the Belt and Road countries have gathered to discuss and share policies, technology trends, industry directions and applications. All the programs were highly valued during the conference. Nearly 40 events including special investment briefing sessions, project matchmaking sessions, and investor roadshows were held, and 50+ projects cooperation agreements have been reached.
