Xiamen Industry Exposition

Xiamen Industrial Exposition (XMIE), also known as China Xiamen Machinery and Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE) has been the largest and most influential economic and trade exchange event in the industrial sector across the Taiwan Strait. The exhibition always adheres to the principal of internationalization, specialization, and marketization, and builds a high-end intelligent manufacturing display platform that integrates "brand display, on-site technical exchanges and customization", focuses on displaying the latest equipments and top technologies of the current manufacturing industry, and releases the latest industry information. A series of cross-strait economic and trade forums and activities were held to establish a stage for closer cross-strait industrial cooperation.

As the largest industrial exposition in the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zones, XMIE (CXMEE) attracts nearly 1,000 participating companies annually. The 2019 XMIE (CXMEE) attracted more than 1,000 companies to participate in the exhibition. The scale of the exhibition reached 85,000 square meters and nearly 3,500 international standard booths were set up. There were professional trade delegations from 28 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand, etc. And more than 30,000 domestic and foreign trade visitors gathered at the expo to share unlimited business opportunities in cross-strait economic and trade cooperation.

The 2020 XMIE (CXMEE) will be held at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 12th to 15th, 2020. This session will echo the Made in China 2025 industrial plan, focus on intelligent manufacturing, and set up exhibition areas for intelligent manufacturing (industrial robotics and automation), machine tools and equipment, rubber and plastics industry machinery, molds and functional components, environmental protection and fluid machinery, rail transportation and smart logistics, etc. The total exhibition area will cover 100,000 square meters, and estimated 4,200 booths will be set up. In addition, during the fair, the organizing committee will also hold investment projects and trade matchmaking sessions, high-quality project road shows, cross-strait economic and trade forums, and a series of professional and technical seminars.
